If you've ever dreamed of "owning a print greeting card business," then this is the class for you. This class is intended for the folks who want to learn basic card making and selling cards to retail shops, online, or have their own brick and mortar stores. You'll learn the ins and outs of the greeting card business including how to make your art, design your card, print it, and prepare your cards for distribution in card stores all across the land. You'll learn about companies that carry inventory and have a "Line" of cards. I started my card company with 24 designs; 24,000 in all and walked the aisles of the NYC Stationery Show. I practically walked up and down gorgeous and trendy Newbury Street in Boston looking for accounts in order to grow my business back in the late 1980s. With the technology on your phone, iPad, and computer, "anyone" can design and sell greeting cards. However, you will still need to have that hunger to make a go of it. Inside this course, you'll learn what it takes to succeed and mistakes to avoid. You'll learn a lot more than you think on preparing artwork for print and the web.
