In this course, you'll be inspired to make a fun patchwork zipper bag. I'll teach you how to choose fabrics, cut your fabrics, quilt your fabric, add a zipper and add ribbon tags. Whew! That'a a lot of information. Trust me, you will love the results. I'll share with you what kinds of supplies you need and where you can purchase it.I contact local designer fabric shops to get a great assortment of designs. Some of the shops will give them to you and others will sell a bag of scraps. But that's so much fun to get such a great variety or otherwise you'd have to buy and spend a lot more money at the fabric store.Putting fabrics together is not as easy as it sounds. You want to make sure that you have certain size patterns together and colors that are similar hues. But it's so fun because it's like putting a puzzle together that can be so satisfying when it's done.Every time I made some of these to sell they sold out very quickly. As soon as I would post them people would grab them before others could get them. Since they are one of a kind that makes them extra special. It's almost impossible to re-create a scrap bag if you just use random scraps. But if you wanna make several that are similar you can purchase fabric and cut it up to put it in the same order.
