Section 1 is an introduction to the DET, with 2 long classes.In the first class we explain all the key information you need to know about scoring, timing and test security. There are ten key points.In our second class we give you an overview of the question types in the test, with tips and practical information you will need to be aware of.In the following sections you have a series of interactive classes based on each skill, shorter tips videos, tasks and assignments, plus downloadable resource material and external links.Let's take an example. In Section 2, you have an engaging class in video format to work together on the Reading question types. The class covers each type one by one using the PASS method.We provide you with strategies, tips and techniques to manage each question and we engage you in the process to maximise your learning.You can watch the classes when you want, pausing them to carry out the tasks and consolidate your learning. Then you can carry out an assignment to put into practice what you have learned.Moreover, there are links provided to direct you to free complete practice tests with answers. You will apply the strategies and record your progress to monitor your development and the improvement in your score.Finally, in Section 6 there is an assessment test. This test is designed to assess your learning during the course and to help you find your weaknesses and redirect you to parts of the course where you can improve those aspects.The clock in the course image is in New York City.
