Hello! We are Sherri and Anne and we are International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, (IBCLC's). We have worked for over a decade helping mothers learn how to breastfeed their babies. While we are real professionals we are also real moms. Sherri has 5 kids and Anne has 4 and we both breastfed our children. We know exactly what you're going through because we've been there ourselves. We're so glad you're here and wanting to know more about breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is a wonderful way to feed and bond with your baby. It is a natural process that occurs in your body after your baby is born. The more you understand how this process works the more success you and your baby will have on your breastfeeding journey. If this is your first baby you can feel overwhelmed by all of the information and advice everyone is giving you. This course was designed to give you information in small, simple videos that you can watch over and over again. Then you can take all the knowledge and advice that you've been given and figure out what will work best for you and your baby. Because each mom and baby are unique, and you are the best mama for your baby. Did you know that breast milk is the perfect food for your baby? Not only is it the perfect temperature and readily available it is constantly changing to meet the needs of your baby. Breast milk is a living fluid and by breastfeeding your baby your body will make the antibodies your baby needs to stay healthy.
