This course, "How To Be Leaderful," exposes participants to and asks them to practice the collective approach to leadership known as leaderful practice, which unleashes existing leadership talent in your team or organization. The course presents a new method of leadership development that rebuilds human resource training and development as we know it. It has five modules: 1) What is Leaderful Practice2) How Do You Prepare for Leaderful Practice3) Artful Facilitation in Teams4) Reflective Practice5) Structure and StrategySince our topic, leaderful practice, is highly participative, the course's teaching style will likewise be highly participative and active. Students are asked to follow through faithfully with all the lectures and exercises in sequence. The instructor team will suggest some resources for further study and practice. There are some activities in between each module to help participants implement some of the ideas and practices presented. The essence of the course is that in this century, all members of an organization need to contribute to the talent of that community. Hence, the leaderful model proposed in the course is inherently mutual throughout all levels of practice: individual, group, organization and network. In its operation, it transforms leadership from being an individual property into a change management approach that redefines leadership as a collective practice.
