This course presents you with the opportunity to learn the rudiments of graphic design using CorelDraw, a powerful vector drawing, graphic design, and layout software application. You would go on to create hands-on and contemporary designs for print, web, and screen applications. The course includes exercise files for student practicals. The first section covers an introduction to Graphic Design, explaining the Principles of Graphic Design, Color Theory & Psychology. Other topics include Typography and then an introduction to CorelDraw software.The course will equip students to understand what CorelDraw can do, emphasizing practical everyday projects. These projects range from branding, stationery, illustration design, and marketing materials, including logos, business card, letterheads, brochures, Facebook Cover photo design, YouTube Channel art design, a movie poster, illustration design, and others.The idea is to guide the student through practical hands-on projects which will familiarize the student with how these things can be quickly produced with CorelDraw software.There is also a section on Copywriting which explains the basics of Copywriting for designers.
