Test Automation has become the testing standard for software projects. Most projects already have some form of test automation or plan to add it to maximize the testing effort. There are a lot of misconceptions about what test automation is and what it can do for a software project as well as uninformed individuals attempting to do test automation without a proper understanding.This course is designed to give individuals with little knowledge of software test automation a broad understanding of the key principles that lead to a successful career in test automation. After taking this course you will have an understanding that will allow you to begin or continue on the path to becoming a Software Test Automation Engineer.Throughout this course you will learn what test automation is and what it can and cannot do for a testing project. You will also learn about how to select the appropriate tests to automate as well as the concepts of test decay and how to minimize it with maintenance.
