This is an important dual-course for all level of students studying arithmetic and algebraic processess. It comprises the basic and advanced content of numbers and numerations for section one and two which are mainly for arithmetic processes. In lecture one, the main areas include learning different types of numbers we have in mathematics, number digit placement system, factors of a number or set of numbers, lowest common factor or multiple of a set of numbers and highest common factor or multiple of a set of numbers. Examples are given to make the lecture more lively. In lecture two of section two is a continuation of type of numbers. Different types of fractions are covered here. Definition of decimal number and performing arithmetic operations using decimal numbers, directed numbers including graphs are in this section. Converting ordinary numbers to standard form and vice versa, rounding numbers including rules and binary number system conversion with examples helps to round up lecture two. Lecture three, extensively, includes classes in highest common factor (H.C.F) and lowest common factor (L.C.M) , prime factor and common prime factor of number or set of numbers. Word problems leading to arithmetic expressions and algebraic equations are in section four. Also,the rule of divisibility of numbers from 1 to 10 with examples are in lecture 5 with the general quiz for arithmetic processes.Algebraic processes are section 3, explicitly includes all you need to excel in this branch of mathematics. Major topics in section are expressions , functions and equations. The sub-topics includes factorization which is in lecture 6 , simplification , expansion and substitution of expressions and equations which is in lecture 7. This class treated areas involving algebraic equations with fractions and non-fractions. Also, it includes how to identify if a given algebra is undefined and finally, how to find the zeros of algebraic function, expression and equation. Lecture in section 8 focuses on word problems leading to algebraic expressions and equations.
