The course will start with covering the general characteristics of fixed income securities. Will look at what a bond actually looks like, how you can understand the key parts of a bond like the coupon, issuer and maturity date. After the video you will be able to understand all parts of a bond. Throughout the course there will be examples to help understand the information better as well as after each sector will be a quiz to see if you have gained and understand the knowledge provided. The course will be regularly updated after receiving feedback from students and peers. You will learn about the two main bond markets that being Primary and secondary. At the end of the videos you will understand the key differences in the markets and which bonds trade in which when they are created.
