Course Overview:The purpose of this course is to teach participants how feasibility studies are planned, conducted, and evaluated. A typical feasibility study consists of several related studies. It starts with a legal study to determine whether the proposed project complies with the legal requirements. The next step is to prepare the market study to ascertain whether there is a market gap, how large it is, and how to reach it. Following is a technical study to determine the facility location, appropriate technology, capacity, and availability of qualified workforce. The last step is to prepare an economic and financial evaluation to assess the financial viability of a project and whether it is worth the time and money needed to get it off the ground.By the end of the program, the participants will be able to:· Understand the concept of the feasibility studies..
