A fall protection harness with a lanyard is a crucial tool for occupations requiring such work at heights to prevent dangerous and often fatal falls.This course will take you through the basics of the fall harness. The course will instruct you on how to wear a fall protection harness properly, as well as how to inspect it for defects. This course will also instruct you on the importance of understanding weight limits, not only for your harness but also for the lanyard and the anchor points to which you attach.Trainees will also learn to identify the component parts of the harness and understand their function, such as the fall indicator and the D-ring. This course will also instruct you about performing a rescue for someone who has fallen while wearing a harness and the danger of suspension trauma.Working at heights is a hazardous occupational hazard, and knowing how to properly utilize a fall protection harness is vital to your health and safety.This course is intended to provide safety and health training in compliance with Federal OSHA and State OSHA training requirements such as CalOSHA. If you have questions, you may ask our instructors, and they will respond to you within a short period of time, as outlined by the OSHA standards.The training will cover all of the required elements outlined in Federal and State OSHA standards to ensure that your training meets or exceed the minimum required training.
