Are you fearful that things might go awry if you pivot?If so, this is the right course for you because everything I have listed above is what I've been through.As a lawyer by training, I've worked with governments and international bodies like the World Bank and the New Zealand Ministry of Justice, engaging in a lot of 'important' policy work, such as negotiating cultural and financial redress between Maori, the indigenous people, and the New Zealand government, or drafting briefs and reports for the New Zealand Prime Minister.I then pivoted into startups, initially founding my own startup, then working with some of the largest blockchain companies in the world.My career path may seem perfect on the surface, but beneath the facade, I've experienced tremendous self-doubt, career struggles, made poor financial decisions, and ultimately, learned to listen to my authentic self.My journey is not over, and like you, I'm still on the path to discovering my mission and life's purpose.However, I'd like to share my experiences of acknowledging my inner fears and taking strides towards a career that resonates with my authentic self.
