A web shell is a malicious program that runs through a web browser and allows users to run arbitrary commands on the system it is running on. The name comes from the idea that a shell is an interface to a system. Hackers use web shells to gain access to systems remotely, perform tasks on their targets, and escape detection.After uploading the web shell, ethical hackers must launch their payload and wait for the system's user to interact with their website. The user will perform remote commands that are run through their infected system's web browser. That means that the hacker can then run commands on the target server, just by using the upload form.In this course, you will learn how to hack servers through upload forms. You will be able to run commands on the target server, without even knowing the password of the server. From there, you can further compromise the system like get root access on the server.
