This course will help you in understanding the equipment used in the Biochemistry Laboratory. In this course, you will be taught everything step by step as I tried to made it easier as possible for beginners or for intermediate level students that are learning or are interested about biochemistry and its basic equipment used in the Biochemistry Laboratory. This course consists of two sections where the first section consists of eight lectures explaining the types of equipment and their function as follows:Centrifuge- In this lecture, students will learn what a centrifuge is, the factors which govern the speed at which the process of centrifugation takes place, and its appearance.Colorimeter- In this lecture, students will learn what a colorimeter is, principle of colorimeter at which colorimeter works on, the two laws( Beer's Law and Lambert's Law) that depends on how the colorimeter work will be explained, parts of colorimeter will be explained in detail.Electrolyte Analyzer- What are electrolyte analyzers will be explained.Semi-analyzer- The introduction and function of semi-analyzers will be explained.Micro-pipettes- the appearance and the function of micro-pipettes will be explained.Hot air oven- functions of a hot air oven will be explained.Spectrophotometer- definition of a spectrophotometer will be explained.Flame Photometer- what is a flame photometer, principle of a flame photometer, parts of a flame photometer and its applications will be discussed.The second section consists of two parts that will explain the basic equipments that can be seen in any field of science laboratories (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology and so on) and these are:Part 1 and Part 2 will explain all the basic equipments that are commonly used in all the laboratories that include- Beaker, Erlenmeyer flask, volumetric flask, graduated cylinder, test-tube, crucible, beaker tongs, crucible tongs, test-tube holder, thermometer, forceps, medicine dropper, test-tube rack, Bunsen burner and many more.
