In this class, we'll paint four cute baby animals: a lamb, a panda, a piglet, and a bunny! These sweet illustrations make perfect hand-painted postcards, nursery decorations, or just a fun and relaxing painting project.You will learn how to mix colors and create necessary shades using just 3 colors, how to build depth of the object using watercolor techniques. For this class, I used the following materials:100% cotton watercolor paper cold-pressed 10 x 15 cm;Pencil, palette, kneadable eraser, paper towels;Two brushes: Round Brush Escoda Reserva #4, #0 by PebeoWatercolors:Raw Umber by Winsor & Newton (PBr7, PY42)Ruby by White Nights (PR170)Payne's Grey by Van Gogh (PBk6, PV19)You can use other materials for this class, but ensure that you use watercolor paper with a weight of at least 300 gsm. Watercolor paper is one of the most important materials for watercolor paintings, and it can affect the result of your work significantly. For the project with a bunny, I will use more earth tones, but it's not necessary (Green Umber by Schmincke (PBr7), Burnt Sienna).This class is designed for all levels - even if you're a complete beginner, you'll be able to follow along! I'll guide you step-by-step through sketching and painting, and you can either draw from reference with my help or simply trace the sketches I've attached to the class.If you are just starting with watercolor, I recommend you take my class "It's All About Color Mixing," which will help you to understand the basics of color theory, watercolor techniques, and color mixing.
