Digestion and Absorption is a course which will cover the anatomy ( alimentary canal and digestive glands) and physiology (digestion process of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and nucleic acid) of human digestive system as well as the disorders/diseases which may occurs because of any fault in the digestive system or malnutrition e.g. deficiency of proteins, carbohydrates or vitamins. The duration of this course is 11.35 hours excluding the assignment. This course includes 20 video lectures, which starts with the introductory video which talks about the content of this course and then follow up lectures are related to digestion and absorptions topics. Students can complete this course at their own pace. In the end small assignment is given to help students understand the level of knowledge they will gain after completing the course. Anybody can join this course who want to understand the human digestive system. This course will specially benefit 11th and 12th standard students those are about to take board examination or any competitive examination e.g. NEET to get selected and fulfil their goal.
