Learn about object storage - one of the key technologies when either designing a cloud-native service or migrating existing services into the cloud.This is the first proper run-through of major hyperscaler Google Cloud Platform's Cloud Storage and it's features.You will learn how to create buckets and edit their metadata, upload and download objects in different ways, change storage tiers, select locations, use encryption, access control with iam and/or acls, lifecycle management rules, retention policies and object holds, how to monitor GCS and how to calculate the costs of all operations.All Cloud Storage features are discussed in this course, including hands-on demonstrations using both the web console and gsutil CLI tool.
