The course covers basics of power generation, transmission and distribution, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and smart grid technologies.Course Goals and Objectives:1. To provide an understanding of the methods used to generate electrical power, including thermal, hydroelectric, wind, and solar power.2. To introduce students to the principles of power transmission and distribution, including transformers, distribution substations, and high-voltage power lines.3. To explore the importance of renewable energy sources, including solar, wind, and hydro power.4.
