PART 1 Communicating in Chinese is relatively easy if you focus on oral practice first. In part 1, you will develop confidence in your ability to learn Chinese. You will learn common words and phrases and how to use them effectively. PART 2 Reading Pinyin correctly with the proper tones is vital if you want to be understood. A bad pronunciation is very difficult to correct in later stages of the learning process. The second part of the course will teach you Pinyin. It may seem a little boring, but it will save you a huge amount of time in the future and will help you be understood by others. PART 3 Question make up a large chunk of conversations. In part 3, you will learn how to ask common questions, such as when, where, who, what, and how, as well as yes-or-no questions such as "Have you been to the market today?" PART 4 In this section, you will learn what to say in common situations. These include: going out for a meal, going shopping, and calling or emailing someone. PART 5 Now that you have a solid foundation, you want to start making up your own sentences that are suited to your individual needs. In part 5, you will start to use different tenses and sentence structures. PART 6 In the final part of this course, you will receive sound advice on how to continue from here.
