Sid tries to get his dog, Tag, to sit in a lid, but Tag refuses to do so, until he sees the fig that Sid has.Our story opens with Tag sitting under a fig tree while Sid is trying to get his dog to sit. This story introduces the letters; i, h, and l in a fun and memorable way.MODULE 1The Main Idea or Value Theme, I Will be Kind When I Train My Pet, shows kindness by how well we treat animals and especially others.The Prestory Background tells of the background is a wonderful and informative background story of our fig seed, Fritz, and how he grows into a fig tree. It begins how Fritz is sorted and selected, along with his "brothers and sisters" to become fig trees and how a fig tree is planted, tended and finally transplanted to become a tree that yields the delicious-tasting fig.Listening To The Story Without Interruption adds greatly to the learning process. It helps the student to learn in three ways:Listening with the audio narrationSeeing the words on the computer's screenSeeing the words on the screen and how they are spelled and pronounced by the narrator, all in a real human voice, not a computerized voice common in today's digital learning world.As with all CompuRead stories, it includes relevant questions with answers to further help the student to fully understand the concepts being taught.MODULE 2The Phonics, Writing And Spelling section emphasizes listening.
