compressed air supply system , is main essential system which is commonly used for medical and industrial application , as most of the equipment through the industrial processes are through compressed air operated equipment.Compression process consumes a lot of energy and reject a lot of heat loss too , so it essential to create the design of the compressed air system based on calculated parameters to get an efficient system.Compressed air system shall be accompanied with energy recovery system and variable speed drive to utilize all the available energy consumed , which increase the system efficiency.For medical application , types of compressors , dryers and filters , even receiver and piping shall be well selected for matching the required parameters for hygienic systems.Compressor room shall be selected and arranged with technical consideration as the ambient inside the room has a great effect on the compressor efficiency , performance and electrical consumption , accordingly compressor room shall be well ventilated through proper ventilation system considering the rejected heat load from the compressors to keep the ambient at the room within the accepted ranges for reliable operation.surge is a critical phenomena that needs to be avoided through selecting the compressor and through the operating point of the compressor , as it is directly affect the performance and the compressor life time as well.
