Class overview -Second in the series of "Comprehensive Course on the art of playing Tabla", The Beginners course -Part 2 or the B 2 course is the next step in the journey with the Tabla with more amazing compositions and technique lessons.What will you learn - 3 new Kaydas and a Tukada compositionWhy should you take this class - Enhancing your tabla vocabulary and rhythmWho can take this class - This class is for beginner tabla students. The most qualified will be those who have taken the part one of the "Comprehensive Course on the art of playing Tabla" - my first course here on Skill share.For students who have taken the B1 course, it will be a smooth flow into this B2 course. For first time students, I request you to quickly go through the first course to better understand and follow the content here.This course is step by step guide to learning a few more Kayda compositions which help in expanding your Tabla vocabulary. I would advice a slow and steady approach in learning each video thoroughly before going on to the next. Remembering the sequence of the variations in each Kayda composition is very important to this learning process.The aim should is to be able to play the sequence that is the Theme, variations and the Tehai ( ending) from beginning to end without breaks.I have attached notes for each of the Kayda compositions that you can take a print out of.I also want to request students to provide me with feedback about how the felt taking the course.
