This series of tests is designed to aid those students who have completed, or have nearly completed, a course of studies in the subject of Category Management, following the syllabus of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. The tests include over 100 challenging exam-style questions, each of which is accompanied by suggested possible answers, correct answers and a short discussion around the question. The questions are based on the CIPS 2018 / 2019 published syllabus for the subject, with at least one question on every element of the learning outcomes / indicative content. These tests are challenging, and it is unlikely that anyone able to pass these tests will fail the CIPS assessment in this subject. The questions have been carefully crafted to make the student work at arriving at the correct answer. The co-operation and support of Colin McIntyre of Lean Procurement Ltd is gratefully acknowledged in constructing this series of tests.The classic work in respect of Category Management is 'Category Management in Purchasing' by the UK-based author Jonathan O'Brien.
