Change management is an approach that is used to help Organizations in adopting the change while moving from the current state to future state. This structured approach is not part of the project management however change management and project management overlaps with each other and they have level of interdependence depends on the type and complexity of the change and level of risk associated with it.Change management focuses on the process of moving toward the future state and applies tactics to sustain this transformation to become the new norm of the Organization. Without change management, the behaviour and the way of doing the work will revert back to the old state before the change was adopted.This course material is aligned with the Standard for Change Management issued by the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and explains the change management cycle in a set of sequential phases.Change management is a set of interrelated activities and not just a single event. It should be deployed using a sequential steps that ensure the smooth transition, these sequential steps is the change management Roadmap.While the training slides are in English Language, the discussion of this course will be in Arabic Language.
