Piping Stress Analysis is one of the critical activities in Piping Design. The critical piping systems must be checked by performing an analysis to ensure that the system will work as intended throughout its design life without failure. Caesar II by Hexagon is the most widely used Pipe Stress Analysis software and is controlling the major market share in piping stress analysis applications. this course will help the students to learn the basics of pipe stress analysis, the code and standard requirements, inputs required for performing pipe stress analysis, etc. The course will guide the student about the load case requirements and the steps to create load cases. Finally, an analysis of a pump piping system will be undertaken as a case study.
