Dr. W has many years experience in climbing the corporate ladder and branching out and becoming an entrepreneur. She has created multiple successful businesses; two of which during the heart of the pandemic. This course dives deep into whether you want to climb the corporate ladder or become an entrepreneur. It first addresses the importance of believing in oneself. Confidence is essential whether you want to continue to climb the corporate ladder or start your own business. We need to be able to sell ourselves and how can we do this without working on our self confidence? This course will address strengths and also things we would like to improve in order so that they become strengths. We then review things to think about when deciding if we want to climb the corporate ladder versus start a business and become an entrepreneur. One of the biggest things when deciding if entrepreneurship is right for you is figuring out if there is a need for your business. If there is not a need, starting a business may not be a good idea. Next we review common mistakes in starting a business. This is then followed by the many steps to start a business. Lastly, marketing is discussed. A great business cannot thrive without marketing!
