This course will provide students with a basic understanding of an introductory level biology experience. It will contain video lectures and you will be provided with fill-in lecture notes, as well as end of section quizzes. It is up to you how you would like to experience this course, fast-paced for upcoming test preparation -or more slow-paced for learners that want to take their time. Either way, you'll be building a foundation for further biology topics if you choose to continue your adventure!The course will cover most major aspects of a biology experience in high school or introductory college course. However, It can be useful to students (at any level) looking for additional help or prep in biology topics. The information presented will help you fill your personal science skill set and be applicable to the natural world around you. We will work all the way through what is called "the central dogma of biology", an informational pathway from DNA to molecular products. Don't worry, it will go step by step.I have 25 years of experience teaching biology and chemistry at both the high school and collegiate level. The course will be taught with an appreciation for life's intricate processes and applications to the real world will be integrated into lectures (when possible.)Hopefully, you will complete the course with a better understanding of how cells work and are a key component and building block of the natural world.
