It's widely recognized that Bioprocess Technology, a subset of Biotechnology, often poses challenges for students, particularly those with a background in Biology. It's a key component of BSc/MSc/B. Tech Biotechnology curricula. Many students find it daunting due to its multidisciplinary nature, leading to a lack of interest or difficulty in grasping its concepts. Understanding this topic requires an interdisciplinary approach. Consequently, students frequently avoid it, which can lead to lower marks in competitive exams. This course aims to tackle these challenges by focusing on Biological engineering and growth kinetics concepts within Bioprocesses, supplemented with relevant multiple-choice and numerical practice questions. Upon completion, students will be better prepared to tackle important questions in exams like GATE BT, GAT-B, and BET. The primary objective is to alleviate fears associated with Bioprocess Technology and foster appreciation for its interdisciplinary nature, which integrates Physics, Maths, and Chemistry with Biology.
