Poker is merely the summation of a whole bunch of decision trees, where you discern the most profitable play at each decision node. To truly crush poker, you must have a structure to your studies versus sporadically studying hands. This course will take a deep dive into one spot or formation, Button vs Big Blind play. By understanding how to study one formation in no-limit hold'em, you will understand the tools to improve at all situations in poker. After I made this realization myself, my game started to dramatically improve. There are lots of different formations to study, including Btn vs BB, SB vs BB, UTG vs CO, and HJ vs SB in single raised and 3bet pots. In this online course, you will learn how to perfect your play as the button aggressor after the big blind defends vs your raise. I will show you preflop ranges I currently use, go over a variety of postflop situations with you in PioSolver (A top poker GTO Solver tool), and review hundreds of examples of hands I have played in my Hold'em Manager Database pertaining to a Big Blind call vs a Button raise. After taking this course, you should immediately be able to win more money when you get in these common situations yourself, but more importantly you will learn how I approach studying one poker formation and will be able to apply this to studying all poker formations.This course is truly a deep dive into Button vs BB play. I will not only show you what optimal play looks like on various board textures, but talk about the nuances of taking what optimal play looks like and working in exploits that I currently use based on how different populations may play. It is important to not just make the play that the PioSolver software would make from an optimal point of view, because unless you are playing at the highest levels of online games, our opponents do not play optimally. Instead, by understanding how our opponents are DEVIATING from optimal play and exploiting that is where the money truly lies in poker.
