Hi, Let's explore bees and flowers together, using an amazing medium called Alcohol inks.When I first began using alcohol inks I could control them at all. In this course, I'll show you that you indeed can control them.We'll practice some whispy background, wet in wet background, use some textures, and then paint bees!Are you a creative person that loves nature?I'm raising my hand, (BIG FAN) of bees here, I adore them really! When I was little (4 years old) our family lived in England. Are you familiar with the beautiful English gardens? I can still remember playing in there looking at all the flowers and bugs. The garden had one of those rope swings and a little harbor to run around. It was one of my favorite places. I can remember taking my parent's empty coffee cans and popping holes in the lids so that I could catch them. Didn't keep them for very long, just enough to look at them. I was fascinated! Since my childhood, I've still adored them so when I found this little one hanging out on my first lupine flower of the season, I had to paint it. Bees are such an important part of life on this earth, I just felt that we all need to save the bees and what a great way to honor them than by painting one.
