You'll learn the reasons why we strive to prevent backflow or cross-connections in potable water systems. Understand the concepts, definitions, and hazards associated with backflow and the different devices we use to prevent it. We'll first talk about all the different forms of Backflow Prevention, then drill down into the specific models that you'll deal with in the field on Sprinkler Systems. Participate in "Skill Builder Exercises" as we break down and rebuild several models. *This is NOT a state Testing Certification school. Contact your respective states in the USA for details on getting certified to test devices.* This is a beginner level Course, designed for current or training technicians as a stand-alone module of information, or as part of Pro Irrigation Training's Certification Program.
