Was there really an Atlantis, and if so, where was it? Why don't we know more about it, and its impacts? This course will provide well-researched and organized information, detailed maps, graphs, hypotheses and conclusions on the real existence of Atlantis, its location, and its disappearance. It will use a surprising list of resources and references to prove the existence, location and leave the student-participant pleasantly surprised.This course will go through the available information on Atlantis, from the best sources we have. It will dissect this and measure it against underwater maps, graphs of climatological changes occurring during the time in question, and historical fact around those changes.Further the student will be reading these same materials, looking at the same charts and graphs, and be allowed to form their own opinions and conclusions. Feedback to the instructor is of course welcome in order to clarify anything that is not clear or to widen the discussion.The course is organized in five lecture packets which introduce the topic of Atlantis, with fascinating background information. In the second section we will see together conclusive evidence of the existence and location of Atlantis. Next we will see that there was in fact an impact elsewhere on the planet, and that the likelihood of parallel cultures in 10,000 BC is high. We will see that climate change is not only a topic for today but that it was in fact much more significant in the very ancient past and that somehow people living in between that time and our own had clear historical connections to those changes.Lastly we will see that the advanced technologies of the Atlanteans were probably involved with extra-terrestrials.
