课程详情

As a practicing psychologist for over twenty years, I have seen the destructive nature of poorly controlled anger. It can lead to relationship problems, excessive feelings of shame and guilt, self-sabotage, and even legal problems. Recent surveys suggest that the world is indeed becoming an angrier place. You may have experienced these feelings while driving, flying, or waiting in line. Fortunately, there are scientifically-proven ways to reduce the expression of unhealthy and destructive anger. Through proactive management, we can help address anger in ourselves and reduce its impact on our world. Understanding the reasons for this uptick in anger is key to addressing it.I have taught wellness skills for over two decades, including to professional athletes, medical students, successful executives and even teenagers. Fortunately, there is no need for anger to wreak havoc on your relationships, your career, or your life any longer. By learning the sources of anger - both situational and deeply psychological - you will be able to recognize your triggers to anger before they become out of control. You will begin to create alternate ways of expressing anger that feel constructive and healthy. Finally, this course will teach you how to use the latest techniques, including mindfulness meditation, empathy, and personal insight to put the destructive force of unhealthy anger in the past.
