In this course, I will explain the difference between completely factoring a polynomial, and solving for the actual zeroes. I will explain the importance of factoring, and how it can help when graphing a polynomial. Basically, you need to know how to properly factor a polynomial if you want to graph a polynomial. In this course, I will go over all the factoring rules of a polynomial. In this course, I will go over all the factoring rules of a polynomial. I will go over simple factoring when the a-value is equal to one. I will go over bottoms up factoring also known as the a/c method when the a-value is equal to one. I will go over bottoms up factoring also known as the a/c method when the a-value is greater than one. I will go over factoring out the greatest common factor or known as factoring out GCF. I will go over grouping by factoring, and when can you use grouping by factoring. I will go over finding x- intercepts by using quadratic formula which will be useful when graphing a polynomial. I will go over factoring special factoring rules such as factoring using a difference of two squares. I will go over factoring the difference of two cubes, and when to use it. I will go over factoring a sum of two cubes, and when can you use the rule. Finally, I will properly go over rational zero theorem, and synthetic division the last resort of factoring.
