There are many project management tools to choose from, but Atlassian's Jira is one of the most powerful project management tools any project manager could use. It has many outstanding project templates to choose from. This course will start by introducing you to the four Agile values and twelve principles of Agile. All through the course we will keep these values and principles in mind when creating and managing our project. From there it will show you how to create a software scrum project. It will teach you how to create issue types. Enter an issue type into a backlog manually. How to create a issue spreadsheet and upload that spreadsheet into a Jira project. How to map the spreadsheets fields to fields inside of a Jira backlog. Create sprints. Manage sprints and a backlog. Create custom project dashboards and reports. Create a subscription to custom project filters. Create and manage project roles. Onboard people onto a team and project and much more! The instructor for this course has been in project management for over eighteen years. In addition to having an M.S. in Project Management, I have been a certified Agile project manager for over ten years and have worked with Jira since 2008.
