A practical guide to qualitative research helps the target audience to be qualified in writing effective publications (e.g., Thesis, dissertation, journal article) that are based on qualitative approach. The target audience (e.g., PhD and master's degree students, lecturers at university, User Experience researchers, entrepreneurs and service managers) will be able to understand and write the content of the basic components in qualitative research. This means that researchers will be qualified to write abstract, introduction, literature review, research methodology, findings and discussion and conclusion according to best practices in academia and industry. Moreover, researchers will understand the practices of data collection which include selecting data collection methods, creating data collection protocol (e.g., interview protocol), selecting sampling strategy, understanding saturation to determine sample size, and following research ethics. Furthermore, researchers will understand the main concepts of data analysis such as codes and themes, the main steps of data analysis and evaluation criteria and strategies that are necessary to make the findings trustworthy. Finally, this course provides multiple pieces of advice and recommendations that are important to present findings in an interesting and informative manner.
