This course provides China’s perspective on global climate change. Learn about China’s view of the scientific basis of climate change, the challenges and impact it has on regional climate in China, and the adaptation and mitigation measures for addressing it.

China’s climate policies and actions will be presented as well as an interpretation of China’s Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC) and the co-benefits of ambitious climate actions relating to energy security, environmental protection and sustainable development.

Special note: This course will be available during the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC (COP 21), known as the 2015 Paris Climate Conference.
