This is the fifth part of an introductory business information systems series, designed to introduce you to the amazing world of Information Technology.

In this course, you will learn the basic concepts of information systems and their application, with a focus on the social implications of technology. We will discuss the economic effects of Information Technology, the challenges to privary, and how open source initiatives relate to the world of technology. Also, we will discuss the various career paths in information technology, and which business strategies are used in IT.

This course is part five of a five-part series. By completing this course, you will be prepared to pass the CLEP Information Systems and Computer Applications exam.
